The Necessary Steps
Every man needs a vision, training and support to accomplish their vision which is sustainable over a life time. Next Step Ministry exists to help come alongside men in their faith journey through a relationship with Jesus Christ, the author, model and sustainer for maximized manhood.
Experiencing this vision requires intentionality to take a next step of faith that leads to Jesus and from Jesus. Fulfilling this foundational reality requires co-journeying with other men. Isolation in a man’s life is a recipe for disaster for we are created in the image of a Triune God in deep relationship with each other. Men learn to understand how to fight life’s battles courageously through the stories of other men lives.
Confusion is the core challenge to which every specific battle man encounters must be faced. The voice of confusion is heard through the questions men ask to accomplish the necessary problem solving in experiencing victories. Voices which are familiar to every man that can cause us to lose heart.
“What” Questions:
† Do I have what it takes to muster the courage to take the necessary next steps?
† I don’t know what to do. I feel afraid. I feel so alone. Does anyone truly know me?
† Would they still want to know me if they knew what I was really like?
† What difference am I making?
A man that doesn’t face these questions through the Authors design faces serious consequences.
Fallout Includes:
† Feeling of being trapped
† Loss of respect
† Addictions to help ease the pain-(pornography, substance abuse, excessive devotion to recreation and sports,)

Lasting Hope:

Our group’s motto is “is that all you got?” Namely, as men honestly process their fears, shame and confusion their stock in the others men’s lives goes up.
